Calgary Tower graffitied with Vietnamese Amida Buddha Recitation

That’s bold and poetic. Seeing “Nam Mô A Di Đà Phật” written vertically like that on the Calgary Tower gives off this peaceful-but-striking visual—a spiritual presence right in the heart of a modern city skyline. It’s like a reminder that even among skyscrapers and hotels, someone is still calling out to the Pure Land.

From a design perspective, it almost feels like a modern-day prayer flag or urban mantra tower. Of course, as actual graffiti, the city would likely not be thrilled 😅 —but as a visual concept or photo edit, it’s powerful. Subtle rebellion meets sacred recitation.
